Our model has this matchup fairly priced before adjusting for the spot; however, the spot adjustment gets us over the top to back the pinstripes. The Yankees were flat out embarrassed in the first two games of this series in Toronto and now return to the Bronx with their backs against the wall. They’ve got the pitching edge, the motivational edge and what figures to be a raucous home field advantage. While they will probably lose this series, this is the spot to back ‘em. Harnessing Hemingway’s prose, we’ll attempt to ladder bet the pinstripes in Game Three.
