Race Four - #6 Be of Courage : This horse ran a bang up race last time out setting wicked fractions on the front-end before tiring in deep stretch. We love the jockey change here to Ricardo Santana who has been good for us lately. Look for him to be able to ration his early speed better and save enough for the finish. The cutback in distance should also help. We view this horse as the most likely winner of the race and we’ll be compensated in price for the low-profile connections.
The Play: 2 units to Win.
Race Eleven - #5 Chatter: We like this filly coming off the layoff for John Ortiz who has had tremendous success with this move. He sports a 21% Win Rate with three year olds coming off of extended layoffs in allowance races with 71% hitting the board and an over $4 ROI! Furthermore, this filly is exiting a key race at Oaklawn where the top two finishers both came back to win and validate that speed figure. According to the clockers she has been training well for her return and has been working heads up with the best horse in his barn in Brightwork and holding her own! With routine improvement for age this filly should be the goods in here and we anticipate a big performance from her this afternoon.
